A collaboration focused on fostering equitable early childhood development, specifically for children.

UPLIFT After-School Program

We offer a welcoming space where children can learn, play, and build confidence. Held at Ripple Church, the program supports young learners with homework help, hands-on STEM activities, relationship building, and simple tools for managing emotions—all in a safe and supportive environment. Families are also invited to share a free dinner together, creating time for connection and community.

Tuesdays & Thursdays
3:30–6:00 PM

Parent Advisory Board

This group helps shape programs and services for families with young children. Caregivers of children who live in Franklin Park are invited to share their experiences and ideas to help guide neighborhood efforts.

Participants will:

  • Offer input on programs for young children and families
  • Connect with other parents and caregivers
  • Build leadership and advocacy skills

The group meets four times during the academic year.

Participants receive:

  • Annual stipend
  • Free childcare and meals 
during meetings
  • Meetings in English and 
Spanish as needed
