Our Mission

To create a neighborhood where residents feel connected and can thrive.

About

The Franklin Park community is transforming from the inside out. What began as neighbors and partners coming together to listen has grown into a shared movement to build a healthier, more connected, and more equitable community.

At the heart of this work are the neighbors in the Franklin Park community: individuals, families, youth, who bring ideas, energy, and lived experience to every effort. Alongside schools, nonprofits, businesses, and city partners, they are shaping a neighborhood rooted in belonging and opportunity for all.

We focus on the essentials that allow families to thrive: quality education, stable housing, meaningful work, and accessible health and wellness. Most importantly, these investments are enhanced by efforts to develop a deep sense of belonging and social cohesion. By aligning resources and relationships across sectors, we’re turning collaboration into measurable change and trust into lasting progress.

Every meeting, story, and small victory strengthens the foundation for what’s next: a neighborhood where neighbors know one another, where local voices lead, and where every child and family has the chance to build a better future. Together, we are proving what’s possible when community leads the way: a neighborhood defined not by its challenges, but by its connection, creativity, and collective strength.
